What Happens During a Spirit Release Therapy Session?

What Happens During a Spirit Release Therapy Session?

When you hear the word session, you might imagine scheduling an appointment, hopping onto Zoom, lying down somewhere quiet, or actively participating while a practitioner works with you.

That's not how my Spirit Release Therapy sessions work.

When you book an SRT clearing with me, you aren't booking an appointment you need to show up for.

In fact, you generally won't know exactly when your clearing is taking place.

That is intentional.

Spirit Release Therapy is performed remotely while you continue going about your normal life. Behind the scenes, however, there is an established process taking place — one designed around sovereignty, permission, verification, clearing, and guidance.

After purchasing your service and providing the information required for your particular clearing, the clearing itself is generally completed within 1–2 weeks. Once the clearing has been completed, I compile my notes and send your written report within 48 hours of the completed clearing.

So what actually happens during that process?

Let's walk through it.

First: What Is Spirit Release Therapy?

Spirit Release Therapy, or SRT, is a spiritual and energetic practice used to identify and address energetic or spiritual influences believed to be affecting a person, animal, home, land, or other space.

Depending on what is found during a clearing, this may include things such as earthbound spirits, energetic attachments, cords, contracts, portals, implants or devices, curses or spellwork, and other forms of energetic interference recognized within the SRT framework.

The purpose isn't to make you afraid of what might be around you.

It's quite the opposite.

The foundation of this work is sovereignty — recognizing your own energetic authority and helping restore that authority where interference is believed to be present.

And that means sovereignty has to begin with the practitioners doing the work.

Step One: We Check Ourselves First

Before we ever begin working with a client, the medium I work with and I begin with ourselves.

The medium has already completed their own sovereignty checks, and when we connect for a session, my sovereignty is checked as well.

Safeguards are also established around communication with Spirit.

Within this practice, we don't simply assume that something presenting itself as a guide, helper, or member of a spirit team automatically is what it claims to be.

The spirit teams involved are vetted according to our established protocols before proceeding.

Only after sovereignty and those safeguards have been confirmed do we move forward with the client's clearing.

Why I Don't Use Pendulums or Charts

This is also an important difference between my practice and some forms of energetic work.

I don't use a pendulum or charts to conduct SRT clearings.

I've worked with pendulums before, and one of the reasons I don't rely on them for this work is simple: I can influence one.

If I can consciously or unconsciously affect its movement, I don't want it serving as the deciding voice in work this sensitive.

Instead, the medium and I work through established communication and verification protocols.

For me, having multiple safeguards and methods of verification is preferable to relying upon a physical divination tool that can potentially be influenced by the person holding it or the surrounding energy.

Step Two: We Verify Who We're Clearing

Once our own sovereignty and spirit communication have been checked, we move into the protocol for identifying and verifying the client or clients receiving the clearing.

The process varies somewhat depending upon the service.

An individual clearing is approached differently from a group clearing.

A group being cleared collectively — or "in a bubble" — with one shared report requires a different reporting process than a group clearing where each person receives their own detailed findings.

Property, animal, earthbound, detailed-question, and Psychic Surgery services also have their own considerations.

The underlying safeguards, however, remain.

Step Three: Permission Comes Before Clearing

This is one of the most important pieces of the entire process.

We check with the client's Higher Self for permission before proceeding with a clearing.

If permission isn't given, we don't simply push through because someone purchased a service or because we think clearing them would be beneficial.

That is an ethical line in energy work that I do not blur.

Sovereignty isn't sovereignty if we're willing to disregard someone else's.

There is also a distinction between conscious awareness and permission within the spiritual framework of this work.

Part of the reason I don't tell clients exactly when their clearing will occur is to preserve what I call the element of surprise. The client doesn't need to consciously participate or know the exact moment we're working.

Higher Self permission, however, is still part of the protocol before the clearing proceeds.

Step Four: The Clearing Begins

Once the preliminary checks are complete and permission has been established, we begin the actual clearing protocol.

What happens from there depends upon the client and what is identified during the session.

There isn't a predetermined list of things that I expect to find on everyone.

The purpose is to work through the established protocol, address what presents within that framework, and document the information and guidance that comes through during the process.

That is also why different SRT services require different amounts of time.

A standard individual, animal, property, or earthbound clearing may take approximately 30 minutes to an hour once the medium and I begin the actual session.

More extensive work — including group clearings, detailed reports involving client questions, and Psychic Surgery — can take up to approximately two hours.

This session length is separate from the overall fulfillment timeframe. Your clearing is generally completed within 1–2 weeks of purchase, depending on scheduling and the service selected.

And remember: you don't have to sit there for any of it.

You can be making dinner, working, sleeping, chasing children, folding laundry, or living your completely ordinary Tuesday.

We're doing the work behind the scenes.

Will I Feel Something While My Clearing Is Happening?

Maybe.

But you also might not feel anything at all.

Most clients aren't consciously aware of the exact moment their clearing is taking place, which is intentional.

I have had a few interesting exceptions.

One client experienced ringing in their ears during the general timeframe and described a sense of lightness settling over them. Once they received their report, they were able to connect what they had experienced with when the work had occurred.

In another instance, I performed a clearing for a friend who wasn't consciously aware beforehand that the work was taking place. Higher Self permission remained part of the clearing protocol.

Before I had even sent the report, she contacted me.

She didn't know whether I had done anything yet — but told me she suddenly felt much lighter.

Experiences like these are interesting, but they aren't a requirement or a measurement of whether a clearing "worked."

You don't need to feel tingling, ringing, pressure, emotional release, sudden lightness, or anything dramatic.

Your experience is allowed to be quiet.

Step Five: Sovereignty Is Reaffirmed

Clearing something isn't where the session ends.

Before the medium and spirit team disconnect from the client, the client's sovereignty is reaffirmed.

We also make sure that the guidance intended for the client has been communicated so I can document it in their report.

That guidance matters.

SRT isn't meant to create a cycle where you believe you need someone else constantly clearing your energy for you.

The larger goal is helping you understand how to maintain your own energetic sovereignty through practices such as grounding, cleansing, boundaries, energetic awareness, and whatever specific guidance comes through for you.

Then the connection is closed.

Step Six: I Write Your Report

Once the energetic portion of the session is complete, my work isn't quite finished.

I take the notes gathered throughout the clearing and turn them into your written SRT report.

Whenever possible, I prefer to write the report immediately after the session while everything is still fresh. However, your completed report may take up to 48 hours after the clearing itself has been completed.

This is an important distinction in the overall timeline:

Your clearing is generally completed within 1–2 weeks of purchase. Once the clearing has taken place, your written report is completed and sent within 48 hours.

Your report allows you to review what was identified during the session, what was addressed, and any guidance communicated for you.

More importantly, you can begin implementing recommendations surrounding grounding, clearing, boundaries, or energetic hygiene to support your own sovereignty moving forward.

What Do I Do While I'm Waiting?

Live your life.

Seriously.

You don't need to meditate for three hours.

You don't need to sit perfectly still.

You don't need to "open yourself up."

And you don't need to anxiously monitor every sensation wondering whether your clearing has started.

Purchase your service, provide the information requested for that particular clearing, and continue with your normal routine.

Within the following 1–2 weeks, the medium and I will complete your clearing. You do not need to schedule or attend that session.

Once it has been completed, I'll prepare your written report and send it to you within 48 hours.

I'll handle my side of the work.

When your report arrives, you'll have the information and guidance you need for yours.

The Clearing Is Only Part of Energetic Sovereignty

One of the biggest things I want people to understand about Spirit Release Therapy is that a clearing isn't intended to replace your own energetic practices.

SRT can address what is identified during a session.

Your everyday relationship with your energy belongs to you.

Learning to ground.

Recognizing when something feels different.

Clearing your space.

Establishing boundaries.

Understanding what belongs to you and what doesn't.

Those practices are part of maintaining sovereignty after the clearing has ended.

Because the ultimate goal isn't dependence upon a practitioner.

It's helping you stand more firmly in your own energy.

And that begins before the clearing, continues throughout the work, and remains yours long after my report reaches your inbox.
